Lunchtime Meditation

Sometimes it feels like we can’t stop our day. And yet, if we take time to meditate during the day, our state of mind at work or home will be much more balanced. Refresh your Thursday afternoon with a 30-minute meditation class and experience the peaceful benefits.

How to best experience a class through Zoom

Find a quiet place where you will not be interrupted, by sounds or by others. Turn off your phone. Set up a cushion on the floor or sit in chair that will allow you to sit comfortably with your back straight.

You do not need to be Buddhist to attend and benefit. Everyone is welcome. No previous experience is necessary.

About the Teacher

Taught by Laura McPeake, senior Buddhist Teacher at AKBC, the thirty-minute afternoon class gives a refresh experience to your Thursday. This class deepens our understanding of  Wednesday night class through meditation. Each class includes a highlight and a longer guided meditation. Everyone is welcome.
