We all have the potential for self-transformation, a limitless capacity for the growth of good qualities, but to fulfill this potential we need to know what to do at every stage of our spiritual journey. This meditation retreat offers step-by-step guidance on the meditation practices which will lead us to lasting inner peace and happiness.
The practical meditations presented in this guided retreat are called Kadam Lamrim which is the condensation of all Buddha’s teachings.
Led by Gen Kelsang Chokyi, Buddhist nun and Resident Teacher at AKBC. Suitable for all levels of experience. Everyone is welcome.
$20/full retreat, $5/session, free to FP and Patron Members
Retreat Schedule:
9–10:30AM Initial Scope meditations
11AM–12:30PM Intermediate Scope meditations
Lunch break (BYO)
2–3:30PM Great Scope meditations
4–5:30PM Great Scope meditations
6-8PM Offering to the Spiritual Guide chanted prayers to celebrate Heruka Day!
What to Expect at Retreat
This retreat includes prayers and guided meditations. It would be beneficial to have come to other General Program classes at AKBC.
We provide both cushions and chairs to sit on. No special clothing is required.

About the Teacher
Taught by Resident Teacher, Gen Kelsang Chokyi, Sunday Meditation gives us an opportunity to connect with our inner peace by deepening our understanding and experience of Kadam Dharma. Each class includes a short discussion and two guided meditations. Suitable for all levels of experience. Everyone is welcome.
