What Happens When We Open Our Hearts?
None of us lives in isolation. We are all inter-connected to our families, friends, strangers on the street and every other living being on the planet. And it is crucial for own well-being – and the well-being of the world – that we not only come to understand this but that we make the shift to opening our hearts to this reality. In fact, it is vital that we discover our truly deep capacity for great love and compassion. How else will we heal our world?
Geshe Kelsang Gyatso’s book, Universal Compassion, is a practical and inspiring text that lays out for us in plain language Buddha’s instructions for accomplishing this goal. In this series of classes, we will explore various meditations that help us gain a direct and healing experience of great compassion.
