Who is Atisha?

Portrayed at the event by a guest appearance, the great Indian Buddhist Master Atisha (982-1054 AD) was responsible for reintroducing pure Buddhism into Tibet. There are many stories to be told about his life and travels. Come out and see what advice he has for you.

Who is His Cook?
Atisha’s cook traveled from India to Tibet with him and was considered a difficult person. He was rude
to Atisha and others, unreliable as a cook, and challenged people. Atisha viewed him as a gift.
